Make your own pizza oil with the iSi Rapid Infusion Set

Ingredients for approx. 200 ml pizza oil:

  • 200 ml olive oil
  • ½ Chili (lightly crushed)
  • zest of half a lemon (untreated)
  • 1 sprig of rosemary
  • 1 sprig of oregano

  1. Prepare the ingredients: Pour all the ingredients into the iSi bottle. Make sure that the lemon peel is untreated and well washed.
  2. Close the bottle: Insert the seal and the strainer correctly and close the iSi.
  3. Charging: Depending on the size of the bottle, use one or two cream charger capsules (1 capsule for 0.5 l / 2 capsules for 1 l).
  4. Extraction: Shake vigorously so that the aromas are well distributed. The pressure also dissolves non-oil-soluble aromas.
  5. Let it pull: Leave to infuse for at least 15 minutes. If you want a more intense aroma, leave the oil to stand overnight (refrigerator).
  6. Release pressure: Carefully release the pressure, open the bottle and strain the oil through a fine sieve or cloth.
  7. Fill & enjoy: Pour into a clean bottle. Ideal for refining dishes or as a gift from the kitchen.

Tip:

The pizza oil can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for around two weeks. Always shake well before use!
